Sydney New Year's Eve 2011–12 will be the 17th Sydney New Year's Eve held at Sydney Harbour on the evening of 31 December 2011 and in the early hours of 1 January 2012. The Nine Network will broadcast the event for their third consecutive year (fourteenth overall). The theme was previously revealed to be "Time to Dream" and will be Marc Newson's first year as creative director.
